The night is divided into three parts: The First Third, The Middle Third, and The Last Third.

The last third of the night is the best time for Tahajjud, as the Prophet ﷺ said:

"The closest the Lord is to the servant is in the last third of the night, so if you are able

to be among those who remember Allah at that hour, then do so."
